Privacy in the internet communications (As a study in the Iran and Europe Union law)

Abstract

Relevant component of privacy have been divided in for topics(categories), even though there is no equal definition of it. Topics include Physical privacy, personal life privacy, privacy related to a person's identity and occupational privacy.
Nowadays, modern  information and communication technologies threaten privacy. For instance, information superhighway such as the internet prepared a new ways for infringement of privacy. On the one hand, the internet facilitates access to personal data and distortion and destruction theme as well as exploitation of the person's identity and publish these information unauthorised purposes and on the other hand, tracking the information  relevant person's identity and also sent massages content is possible by the internet. Further more, publishing of some information in the internet, results in the creation of nominal files or behavioural data bank and any number of person's information and all other internet users identity elements, become- visibly or invisibly- accessible exploitable in varies ways.
Meanwhile, when setting rules supervising the protection of privacy, little   consideration has been given to this new technology. For more explanation
In the IT era, issue of privacy protection as got a new form in the frame of data protection and it includes a new conception of privacy right. Consequently, every information having private aspect like physical, audio-visual information, sexual relationship, philosophic, religions, politic beliefs, racial and ethnic roots even interests should be legally protected as soon as they are processed through electronic data.
In Iran, from the legal point of view the necessity of protection personal data particularly after disclosing detail of the life private secret of an actress through the internet and mobile recognised more than ever.
This article has been complied with the purpose of considering principal contents concerning the privacy of personal data and evolution of legislation in this matter and study of Iran and EU rules about personal information and legal limit of personal data protection.
