Plagiarism Detection Policy

 

• Plagiarism involves the appropriation of another author's ideas, text, or research findings without appropriate acknowledgment or citation. The Journal of Islamic Law Research considers the uncredited verbatim copying of even a single sentence from other works—including an author's own previously published material (text recycling or self-plagiarism)—as academic misconduct.
  
  
• All submitted manuscripts undergo rigorous similarity screening prior to evaluation and throughout the review process using professional detection tools, including Crossref Similarity Check (powered by iThenticate) for English content and SamimNoor for Persian and Arabic submissions. Authors are expected to ensure their manuscripts are thoroughly checked and free of plagiarism prior to submission.
  
  
• If plagiarism is detected during the peer review process, the manuscript will be immediately rejected. If plagiarism or fraudulent attribution is identified after publication, the journal reserves the right to take formal corrective actions in accordance with COPE guidelines, including the publication of a formal correction or an official Retraction Notice.
