The Journal of Islamic Law Research (ILRJ), a quarterly, tri-lingual, fully open-access, and double-blind peer-reviewed publication, encourages discussion on all branches of the field of Law, emphasizing and interacting with classical and modern Islamic Law. It aims to promote an understanding of Islamic law, in both theory and practice, from its emergence to modern times and from juridical, historical, and social-scientific perspectives. Islamic Law Research bridges East-West researchers and readers and presents up-to-date research. We hope that, with God's help and the dedicated efforts of the academic community in presenting substantial and valuable legal research, which The Journal of Islamic Law Research warmly welcomes, we will contribute to the enrichment of the authentic knowledge of Islamic law. Financial Policies

 

  • Article Processing Charges: Publishing an article in this journal incurs an Article Processing Charge (APC).

  • Subscription Fee: As ILRJ is published as an open-access journal, there are no subscription fees for readers.

  • Advertising: The policy of the Journal of Islamic Law Research is based on the absence of any advertising activities or the like.

  • Sponsorship: The Journal of Islamic Law Research does not receive funding from any financial sponsors.


 

Plagiarism Detection Policy

 

  • Plagiarism involves the intentional appropriation of someone else's ideas or original material without attributing proper credit. Islamic Law Research considers the copying of even a single sentence from someone else’s manuscript, or from one of your own previously published works, without appropriate citation, as plagiarism.

  • All manuscripts under review or already published by Islamic Law Research undergo screening with plagiarism detection software such as Crossref, iThenticate, and SamimNoor. Authors are expected to verify their manuscripts for plagiarism prior to submission.

  • Should plagiarism be identified during the peer review process, the submission may be rejected. If plagiarism is detected after publication, we reserve the right to take necessary actions, including issuing a correction or retracting the article. Furthermore, we reserve the right to inform the authors' institutions about the detected plagiarism, regardless of whether it was discovered before or after publication.
