Crimes against morality, like crimes against other elements such as the economy, spiritual dignity, and physical health, can be committed in an individual or organized manner. Naturally, the organized form gives rise to more severe punishments for the perpetrators. In the field of moral cases, due to the lack of any mechanism for criminalizing certain crimes related to this area, there is no clear distinction between the individual and organized commission of the above-mentioned crimes. However, this issue is not peculiar to this field and extends to other areas as well. It is noteworthy that the organized form in this field may be accompanied by the intention of subverting the Islamic system and undermining its foundations. Although there is no special category for these crimes in jurisprudential sources or statute law, the possibility of extending common jurisprudential terms to this type of crime can be considered or even deemed necessary so that crimes of this nature and with such motives may be punished appropriately. Among jurisprudential terms, infringement of public security and corruption on the earth can be extended to these types of crimes more appropriately than others. Of course, this requires determining the relationship between these two terms. There are two views discussed in this regard by jurisprudents—namely, the distinction between the two terms or their overlapping. Numerous traditions and the views of earlier jurisprudents suggest that these two terms, whether separately or jointly, can extend to crimes against morality when they are organized and accompanied by the intention of subverting the Islamic system.
